Everything we react to in our lives is formed from an experience, something we have learned. If we react to certain situations with a lack of confidence, then we can learn to react in a way that is positive and feels natural.
By changing your perspective to a positive outlook and thinking about what you could do will put you back in control. If you tell yourself positive things and keep saying to yourself that you can do it, it will become easier and easier for you to start believing in yourself. Be kind to yourself: you wouldn’t say negative things to a friend, tell them they couldn’t do something or run their confidence down, so why do this to yourself?
What we put in, we get out. Put reassuring, positive and happier thoughts in to your mind and you will start to increase your self-esteem and confidence to a far higher level. You may be thinking “why can’t I be better at……?” or “why is my colleague so much better at…….?” Change this round and tell yourself you can be as good as someone else, or improve a certain skill. So much in life is down to self-belief and if we have this, we have so much more freedom within ourselves. Self-talking has a lot to answer for; we have the power to do this in a negative or positive way, and if we choose to go down the positive route we can create so many more opportunities for ourselves.
If you believe in yourself, other people will believe in you.
Feeling more self-belief and assurance will help your confidence and self-esteem to grow, giving you the motivation and confidence to take control of your life.
